A-cero reinstate plans for 22 storey, avant garde multipurpose tower in Murcia
Architecture studio A-cero has reinstated its plans to construct the highest building in Murcia, after its previous designs were put on hold in 2006 due to economic crisis. A team headed by Joaquín Torres is working with the building’s client, Global Seinco, to develop a multipurpose complex featuring office space, a luxurious hotel and ground floor retail facilities.
Designs for the avant-garde 22 storey, 100m tall building include a sleek, elegant exterior surrounded by the 7,000 sq m public square of Juan de Borbón Avenue. A-cero have expressed the hope that the Torre Norte building will modernise the current panorama of Murcia. It is thought that plans for the tower will be finished within four months and construction work will be completed within a year.
