Russell Taylor Architects complete extension to Neo-classical house

The extension to a Grade I listed Georgian house has been completed in London. It adds a new first floor kitchen, ground floor cloakrooms and a new access to the garden, featuring a classical curved stone overdoor. A new Classical mews house was built as well, which replaced a lost original. Since the appearance of the original is not known, the London based Russell Taylor Architects, who are the specialists in classical and traditional architecture and design, created a fresh and unique design for it, using 18th century principles. The new mews house is a generously proportioned stand-alone house to provide a rental income for the owner of the main house.
