This garden design with concept minimalist house design
Sponsored by Quilted Velvet for The Chelsea Flower Show 2009, this eye-catching garden is the perfect place to relax. A sunken bed of lavender is punctuated by rising stepping stones winding around to a central seating area, which is filled with oversized quilty cushions for glamorous comfort. A raised area behind the protective purple slate walls creates a strong contrast and is densely planted with spiky Yuccas, Palms and Cordylines, whilst the surrounding walls create varied perspectives in the garden.
